Joe is a creator of original illusions. He's designed custom work for IBM, Xerox, Apple, AT&T and Pepsi, and consulted for David Copperfield, David Blaine, Guns & Roses, Alice Cooper's Brutal Planet, and Six Flags. He has lectured for magicians around the world, written for the field's leading publications, and toured as the lead character in Dream Masterz. With Carol he runs Wizard Camp at the theatre, teaching ages seven to seventy.

Carol is a stage illusionist who came up through dance, adagio, and large production work. She starred in Spellboundat Caesar's Palace, performed at the MGM Grand, and toured eight years with Joe across the U.S. and Japan before they opened this theatre in April 2003. She wrote “Cruise News” for Genii Magazine, finalled at Miss America as Miss Ohio, and still does the thing she came up doing: she walks on stage and makes you stop checking your phone.

Joe and Carol were both world-class touring magicians before they ever met. They were introduced performing their own acts at Magic Island, the five-star magic dinner theatre in Houston, Texas, and they have been a team since 1994. Together they specialize in the art of magic, illusion and special effects — reality-bending shows designed for rooms of ten or rooms of three thousand.

In Spring 2026, purchased a gorgeous Victorian property in Sedalia, Colorado — a five-star Italian restaurant for thirty-eight years — and reopening it as The Magic Manor in June 2026.
